How to convert a DVD for use on a PSP

Use DVD Decrypter to rip the contents of the DVD:

1. Mode: IFO
2. Tools->Settings->IFO, File Splitting: None, OK
3. In the Input tab, select the stream you want to rip
4. Press the Decrypt button
5. Wait

Use PSP Video 9 to transcode the movie:

1. Settings, change the settings for One-Click Convert:
   • Device: PSP
   • Profile: Fw2.80 AVC 320x240 768kbps Stereo/128kbps for 4:3 video
   • Process Priority: Normal
2. Select Convert, One-Click Convert, select the file you want to convert
3. Wait

If you use the VideoWizard instead, you can see how large the converted file will become and change the settings accordingly.

To copy the file to the PSP:

1. Start the USB connection on the PSP
2. Copy the converted file together with the jpg file to the VIDEO folder.

You should now be able to see the movie in the list of movies.
