Geexbox, nice little (only 9MB!) Linux/mplayer based HTPC application. Easy configurable with lots of features: reading files from windows shares, UPnP, MP3, photos. However, video playback on an Asus V3-M2A690G barebone with integrated ATI Radeon 1250 is suffering from flickering. Besides that, Geexbox doesn't correctly handle DVDs with menus. I tried to play a Home Improvement DVD, but when trying to navigate, the Geexbox interface popped up and took over the controls.
